What other ways do players benefit from being an Elite Centre Player?
players are also introduced to other aspects of life as a footballer including nutrition for football and psychology along side treatment and prevention of injuries as well as dealing with outside influences that effect performance such as drugs.
This is as we say just additional information and guidance that we feel as professionals we can offer those young players who are wanting to develop and improve. Footballers now a days are intelligent people and from a young age are taught about the pressure life can throw at them and we believe that it should not just be the very biggest clubs and players which get this as it can benefit everyone.
Does the Elite Centre Travel abroad?
The Elite Centre Squads also get opportunities to compete against other young promising footballers in European Tournaments and at residential training camps as well as at academy trials days here in the uk. We fell that these trips again further enhance the learning process for the players and widens their horizons providing life skills and experiences that thye would not otherwise be able to access.
