What are the Football Development Centres?

Training Ground in partnership with Huntingdonshire Regional College, Tresham Institute and British Colleges Sport brings 16 to 19 year olds the opportunity to gain full time professional football coaching within a competitive team environment, coupled with gaining valuable educational qualifications.

How do the Development Centres deliver such Quality?
With UEFA ‘A’ License coaching and experienced and personable tutors we are able to achieve Sporting and Academic Excellence with all players motivated and driven by achieving success both on and off the pitch. The Centre can also boast Championship and Premiership Scouts working closely with the squads, and with the Huntingdon Centre supported by the Football League and Peterborough United as well. Pathways into Higher education and Scholarship programmes in the USA are also available to all players providing them with yet another reason to join the Football Development Centre Squad

With BTEC levels 2 and 3 available we have the perfect course for you. And with both a Men’s and a Ladies Centre we can provide this Professional and exciting opportunity to you all.
